Operating with pretty much a sole focus for 16 years, the company is ready for the next phase, the next chapter - turn the page. It's trying to do the right things to allow more cloud security technology adoption, integration, and the reduction of identity-based security attacks. Identity and Access Management remains a diverse field with multiple vendors contributing technology to almost every single account. While Okta remains a leader in the IAM (and now the "security vendor") space it's really only taken the foot off the (proverbial) technology accelerator once - maybe twice. Sometimes events can cause a retrospective examination. Leaders and pioneers draw the arrows; the key is to learn from experience and emerge stronger.
