This IDC study presents a view of worldwide artificial intelligence life-cycle software revenue broken down by vendor for the historical year 2023. "AI's growth demands responsible innovation; balancing rapid advancements with ethical practices will be the cornerstone of future AI-driven innovation," says Kathy Lange, research director, AI Software at IDC. "Generative AI and traditional AI should be considered complementary. As time moves on, groundbreaking AI applications will contain model cocktails with a mixture of these technologies working in tandem."
